I am thinking of transferring to SJSU in the Fall as a computer science major, but I am worried that it will take me longer than 2 years to graduate because I have heard that it is tough getting the required classes because it is so impacted.

Does anyone know if this is true? I would like to go here since it has a good CS program, but I do not want to prolong my graduation all because of the lack of classes. And compaired to other places I could get it done in two years no problem. Many thanks.

Wow I did not know it was that bad! So even with all my lower division classes completed, it would probably take longer than two years it seems. I have just heard that students are having a tough time getting into classes.

I know someone who goes to CSUEB for CS and is graduating in June, only after a year and a half after transferring!

Some schools aren’t as impacted as other schools. That’s probably why your friend is graduating on time. Or, he or she could’ve taken most of their classes at their previous school.
