I just signed up for the online collegeboard sat prep course, and was surprised at how easy the first practice test was...i did surprisingly well! Just so that i don't get too excited and/or lose motivation for studying....does anybody know how the difficulty of the collegeboard prep course tests compares to that of the real thing? Any other insights are also welcome!

I can't help you with the course itself, but IME, the SAT questions of the day are WAY easier than the test.

That has kind of made me weary of buying the course.

yeah, im guessing its the same case with the course...i think the writing section and sentence completion are just too easy to be realistic at all. i cant understand why, but i have a feeling thats the case.

I agree too that both Question of the Day and CB courses r comparitively easier......but still.........I'd say that CB course is worth trying!

has anyone taken online course with Princeton Review? if so...do u suggest it, level of difficulty, compared to real thing....etc. etc.

College Board courses are always better because they are the only ones that use official tests. Only problem is the course is kind of short, and then it's just a lot of quizzes and tests, which are great though.

I wouldn't trust the college board course. Do you think they'll show you how to beat their test?

It's a lot easier...probably to attract more people to sign up for the test.

well the pretest and practice test #6 were previously administered. which test did you take?

i prepared with CB course for the march SAT and i think it was helpful. it was my first SAt and i improved alot since my PSAT. I got 206 for psat and 2180 for SAT. the practice tests for CB course were about the same as the real....(at least i think..........)
