Difficulty of Spanish and Math SAT II's compared to AP's?

I’m taking both the AB Calc and Spanish AP exams this May, and then the Math 2 and Spanish SAT II’s in June. How much harder are the AP’s than those two subject tests, and how much (if any) extra preparation will I have to do to be able to do well on those tests? I’m shooting for a 5 on the AP Spanish exam and a 4 on the AB for reference to my ability in those subjects.

If you are taking the AB Calc AP exam this spring, you should already have taken the Math 2 exam. You have exceeded the knowledge base and instruction that is necessary for preparing for the Math 2
Subject Test.

You’re all good on that front, just remember to review in that last week or so, as you will have forgotten some of the work specific to the mathematics at that level. Though you have moved on, you will have also not had need to make use of some of the stuff, so just make sure to reach back at your notes.

Anyone have any info on Spanish?

The SAT Subject Test in Spanish tests at a much lower level of preparation that the AP exam. The Subject Test generally tests ~ 3 years equivalent of HS Spanish, while the AP test is 4th/5th year. Additionally, the AP exam does not test grammar, per se, while the Subject Test does.
