I'm going to be a Freshman at UF this fall and am signed up as a digital arts and sciences major. It is basically a cross between computer science and digital art and is located in the college of engineering. Does anyone have any experience with something like this as it seems relatively new and I haven't been able to find much about it. I am just wondering what type of opportunities this would prepare me for as opposed to just majoring in digital arts or computer science.

honestly, I would major in CS, it opens way more opportunities and if you look at the majority of web design, front end design, or animation jobs they mostly require CS degrees with an affinity for art.

I’d major in CS and minor in art
