hello ccers I wanted some opinions. Well last school year I scored a 1950 on my SAT I and am currently studying/prepping so that I am able to score a 2100+ And i am also getting ready to take 2 more subject tests, Chemistry and possibly biology. My questions is Should I take the SAT I or SAT II in October than take whats left in november. ?

I am just scared that if I wait till November I might forget some chem and bio concepts and on the other hand I am also scared that If I take the SAT I in November my SAT taking ability will become rusty because I will not be able to prep for them as i much as I am doing now.

Not all colleges require SAT IIs, but most require the SAT (or ACT). Therefore, I recommend first concentrating on the test that you need most.

Another option would be to take the ACT, which is offered in September. My children’s guidance counselor recommends that students take both the SAT and the ACT because some students naturally find one or the other to be easier.

Do you really think there’s going to be that much difference in a month, between October and November?

Were I you, I’d probably take the subject tests in October and get them out of the way, and use the month between the October and November test dates to do last-minute brush-up prep for the SAT general test. I think the general test is probably easier to re-prep for than the SAT II subject tests.
