Dilemma To transfer or not

Hey, I was planning to go to UCSB starting on fall of 06. But, after visiting the school and stuff, i kinda do not want to go. On top of that, a lot of people are telling me that I should go to more of a well know school like UCLA. Should I go to a JC for one more year ( it will be my third year) and then re apply or should I just think again and transferred to UCSB? I have 49 units right now and I have about 20 units from the AP exams. I am also worried about the unit limitation from UC schools. A BIG Dilemma ...what do you guys think?

go to CCC and transfer to a better school =P
you will have a lot more opportunities if you can go to CC and get high gpa
thas what i wud do if i were j00

Will they automatically reject me if I have a lot of units? I remember reading that from the website....

Not if all of them have been completed at a CCC.

i am in somewhat of a similar situation but i was going to "probably" go to UCSB for the winter quarter.

But instead of better schools, i am thinking of cheaper school such as long beach and fullerton since i am doing accounting.

Do you really want all that time out of school? I dont but sometimes it is better to wait and just take your time and i have had plenty of experience with that.

if he/she loves school why not?

AdamantineX ....loved your comment

I do love school but I gotta make a living too...especially I am the first son....hmmmm...

I really regret for not going to UCLA after high school....

anyway...I was looking to apply for the spring semester of 2007, too, but I am short of one class, the speech class....darn....who needs a speech class as a GE class.....

Come to Berkeley.

We need more CCers there.

if your like me and have to pay for school on your own and your parents make to much then choose a good cheap school
