ok, this is a little different from the threads we've been seeing/the threads we want to see but oh well. i just need some advice from people :D

okay, so i'm given a choice to move to a really nice high school which is situated in the neighborhood that I grew up in, or stay in my current private school. i know for a fact that my school has a better matriculation than the high school, and our matriculation is up to par with a few top privates in the US (I live in an ORM country.) Financially, it would be cheaper to attend the public hs even if we had to rent another apartment altogether, so money isn't an issue.

I think if I stayed here I might get into a better college, but there are so many things (leadership-wise) that might hinder that from happening. The social scene isn't that great either. But the schools I'm looking into have a rather good reputation for sending schools to top colleges (think of monta vista), or they literally send their top 3 to really nice places (ivy league) and top 10 to nice places (top 20 college) which gives me a choice between spending two years competing against the top 50 in an environment i'm comfortable in, trying to pull off a lot of different leadership positions to make the top 3 in the other school, or staying here and trying to compete with the top 20 (we have less than 100 students in our grade) for a good college.

this is probably really confusing. i don't want to give out more info and this probably seems pointless to a lot of people but if anyone is willing to give me some advice on what to do please respond lol
