Dilemma with course selection

I am a junior currently taking Calc 1 and Calc 2 at a CC. Should I sign up for AP Calculus AB or BC next year for my senior year or will this look bad since I have basically already taken college level calculus? Some people say not to take it at my school since It will look like I would just coast through it, but I know that I would definitely not coast through it since it is a hard course at my school.

Question 2: I screwed up my first test for Calc 1. I was innundated with work and had no time to study for the first test. I got a C+ and currently have a B in the class. Is a B in Calc 1 community college course bad? I Still am really gonna try for the A, but there is a chance I could get a B since the class only has 4 tests and then a final. Anyone?

Question 1: Yes I think it would kind of be a waste of time as you basically learned all the material already. I think you should just be able to take the AP test (during your senior year and only take the AP test if your college offers credit for the AP test and your CC credit doesn’t count)

Question 2: Sorry I can’t really answer that question and the answer depends on how high of a B you have and how much the tests are weighted. B in a community college isn’t bad at all.

You could use this:

to calculate your grade.

Best of luck!

A B in a college class as a HS student is good, so no problem unless you’re aiming for HYPSM.
Did you take the AP exam in May? If not, don’t bother. Take another math class a your college if you wish (and depending on what major you’re aiming for, you should).

@MYOS1634 I did not take the AP exam in May, because I just took Precalc. After I take Calc 1 and Calc 2 at my CC is it even worth taking AP Calc AB/BC at my high school?

No, it’s not, since it’ll be senior year. So, don’t worry about it.
