Heres my problem,
I am currently a NY resident, and I have been accepted to SUNY Albany, and Temple U in PA.

Im having mucho trouble picking one... I know academics is first but I will be drinking weekly.

Temple-
Good science program, im going undecided science, good dental/pharmacy.
Good city
Bad neighborhood, no idea how party life is, which is important.
Allot of commuters.
Allot of Indians, from what I hear, (im indian)

Albany-

1 Party school,

-Not in a bad part of town,
-allot of people from my school go there, (may be good/bad)
-may be very easy to get distracted compared to Temple
-no pharm/dental school (even tho dental is graduate)
-might not be too many indians there
-did i mention #1 party school?

I do plan on transferring to penn state after my first year or two, but If I don't get in, (sigh, again) I need a fallback plan, which will be staying wherever I'm at.

Any insight?

I think SUNY Albany is your best choice because of location and cost.

Since drinking is one of your top two stated goals for college, might as well go to the cheaper school.

well, what about my future?
My MAIN goal freshmen year is a 3.5 or anything to get me into penn state

melon, why not apply to penn st now? Is it too late?

You can get into Penn St from SUNY Albany I think. It would help most if you were a PA resident. Albany is your best choice between Temple and Albany. Any other schools on your list?

already rejected
