Bowdoin and Wesleyan are mentioned in the Dining and Wine section of this morning's NYTimes:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/09/dining/09campus.html

organic food co-ops?
can you say "socialist treehuggers?"

anyhow, it is quite true. any of those Maine colleges are absolutely amazing in terms of living conditions.
every single one of them feel like a country club. or a ski resort, in the case of Club Midd

I meant to say Maine/Vermont.

For the record, a few friends and I get together and cook what they get from the fruit and veggie co-op. We keep the entire meal vegetarian for the heck of it, and I can assure you that the veggies are amazing.

johnwesley: You must have very slow delivery service if that's "this morning's Times." Check the date. Wesleying mentioned this back when it first came out. No offense or anything, I just found it funny.

the article says it was published april 9... and thats when johnwesley posted?

for the record, Wesleying mentioned it after it was posted here. :D

I wouldn't say bates college resembles a country club in terms of living conditions, though I would say it does in terms of lack of racial diversity. Everyone blended in with the snow! Even me!

Doh! I didn't look at the original posting date.
