Dining

Hey I was wondering what current students think of the dining, both on-campus and off-campus. I visited a few weeks ago and thought that the food was good, but I'd love to hear the perspective of a student who's eating there all the time. Also, more about what Nashville has to offer.

Thanks!

lots of questions huh lol… well the food is good, and if you like a verity of they options you will be fine. If you have a smaller personal food preference then the food can get kind of old. but lucky for us there are lots of options near by. i think around 20 options are on the vandy card and range from qudoba to TGIF. Several local place are near by also Pizza Perfect, A burrito place, Fido(cafe) and so many more. As long as you are willing to walk for your food you will be fine. On campus. Most of your meals will be on commons because its near the dorms. the muchie marts on campus offer a fair verity of snacks to grad in a hurry. biggest complaint: Breakfast is served 11-4 on the weekends. so if ya want a really lunch on the weekends ya got go off campus or to the muchie mart

Actually, breakfast starts at 10 on the weekends at Rand, and it’s all you can eat between 10 and 2. My favorite part of the entire weekend, by a long shot.

I’m a big fan of Vandy’s food. Lots of variety, healthy options to be found, and as a freshman, you won’t go hungry. Smalltown12, I have no idea what you’re talking about; you can definitely find lunch on the weekends.

Glad to hear it! Good food is always nice  Thanks for info!
