Direct Admission

I was directly admitted into the business school.
But I'm still uncertain as to what that means. The website for my school doesn't really explain it that well. Therefore, I can't really explain it to my parents.

so here are my questions:

What exactly is direct admission?

Are there any benefits for direct admission?

What would I lose if I didn't receive direct admission?

What classes can I take?

Any other suggestions would be helpful.

I'm just really confused.

I expect that this means that you get to start in the business program right away. Some universities would require you to take a year or two of general education coursework before applying for admission to the business major.

Take a look at the university website, and find the program for the major that you are interested in. All of the information should be there. If it isn’t, it is OK for you to call them and ask.
