Direct Admit for Pre-Health Science

I have been reading a lot of threads about DA for CSE and all. SO i was wondering if the same system applied for Pre Health Science. I applied as a Bio major and on my unofficial transcript it says "Pre-Health Science".

Thanks!

Biology is a minimum requirement major. There is no ‘direct admit.’

Per BIOL website: [Admissions | Biology](http://www.biology.washington.edu/Academics/Undergraduate/Admissions)

All Biology Majors have Minimum Admission Requirements; these are:

Completion of BIOL 180 or it’s equivalent with a grade of 2.5 or better OR completion of BIOL 180, 200, 220 or 211, 212, 213 with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better for the series.
All major coursework completed thus far must average to a 2.0 or better cumulative grade point average. This includes any introductory Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Quantitative Science, and Physics you have taken as well as any other courses applicable to the major.
Once you have met the Minimum Admissions Requirements, you can come to the Biology Academic Services Office to do the necessary paperwork in order to be declared a Biology major.
