Direct deposit for leftover financial aid

<p>I have some balance left in financial aid
i corrected direct deposit routing number and its going to take 15 days
ucsd said that they will be mailing to my permanent address
how long does this usually takes?
I kinda need that money for books and other etc...

<p>this is what it says in an email i got from ucsd after my loan money came in:</p>

If there is a credit balance on your university account after all your university charges have been paid, you will receive remaining funds as follows:</p>

<ol>
<li><p>If you enrolled in Direct Deposit at least three weeks ago, your remaining funds will be deposited to your bank account. Questions regarding Direct Deposit should be directed to the Student Business Services Office.</p></li>
<li><p>If you did not enroll in the direct deposit program and have a credit balance, a remainder check will be mailed to you. The check mailing process for those not enrolled in Direct Deposit will begin on the availability date stated at the top of this email. You should allow at least 5 days to receive your check in the mail.

<p>and the “availability date” for me is september 24.</p>
