To start off, I am not looking for Ivy league schools but schools in the top 25 so I want my ECs to be good enough to attract. Currently, I am very interest in economics and my brother promised to lend me $1000 to trade stocks. I had quite a bit of online trading and making money in the past(Trading in Team Fortress 2 from $50 to $2000 in like a year and learned plenty of lessons). Would trading stocks be count as an extra curricular if I am able to pull it off and earn profit ? I am also planning to do community hours in either Florida Hospital or a workplace related to economy but I wonder is it really worth it since so many people do community service as EC and it's pretty old to colleges ? Any criticism or suggestions are welcome.

Trading stocks would certainly make for an interesting essay.
