<p>I've never taken cogs 18, but it probably means one of two things. 1) Section is optional, so it doesn't really matter if you sign up or not or 2)Signups for discussion are not done on TritonLink, but on WebCT or on paper or something else (I have done this for more than one bio class). In either case, you won't really know until class starts.</p>
