It’s not so much that I got an A- as much as it is I got an A- in a class I should have gotten an A in.

I’m a poli sci major with an IR focus, so… not that tough.

It’s not so much that I got an A- as much as it is I got an A- in a class I should have gotten an A in.

I’m a poli sci major with an IR focus, so… not that tough.

I should be getting at the very least 2 As and 2 Bs.

It’s looking like I’m going to be getting 3 As and 1 B, though, so I’m pumped.

I think my GPA will still drop, too, which is hilarious. 3.81 down to like a 3.79, but it’s all good.

I need to wait about 1 or 2 weeks to get my grades. :(

Sociology: B (I got too cocky with this class)
Geology: A (But I took this class as P/NP, darn!)
Geology Lab: Unknown, but I had a borderline 89% and did well on the final-hopefully
U.S. History: A
History of Rock and Roll: P

Overall predicted GPA for Fall 2011: 3.57

@Grimes99 OOOoo IR huh? I’m going to be a IS-Poli Sci Major… . haha. How are the classes? A lot of writing? A lot of hard facts? Brief description please :)

@TaLLL: Yeah to be honest, it’s not difficult at all. All those grades are the result of writing my midterm essays the day before they were due, not starting my readings until a night or two before each final, then spending a couple hours memorizing facts. I’m a decently smart person, but those were all upper-division classes and not one of them was anything I worried about.

Alright something is off here, I went to pick up my final from the poli sci office (signed the Buckley waver) and can only find part 1. We did part 1 and part 2 in different blue books and part 2 wasn’t there. The only thing I can think of is that I forgot to sign the waver, so they kept it, but I could have sworn I signed it.

Anyway, I got an A on both midterm essays, an A on both part 1 prompts of the final and somehow ended up with an A- in the class.

Now for the same professor in another class using an identical grading system, I got an A- on both midterm essays, an A- on both part 1 prompts for the final and an A on part 2 of the final but ended up with an A in the class.

Either I faceplanted on part 2 of the final, or something is off. I was pretty confident that I did well on part 2, so something just doesn’t seem right here.
