Disney - shades of green

I posted a question on the SA parent's board here at the CD, but thought I would ask my good friends here on the MMA too.

Have any of you looked into booking a room at the Shades of Green hotel at WDW?

I admit it, we are a geeky disney family. As we travel there almost every year. But it took until now to realize that we may qualify for a discount at SOG if my son goes along.

SO, now I need to convince him that we need to go over his "spring break" Not sure he is gonna buy it, but I was wondering if anyone has any info.

What pay scale/rank/ level are our kiddos?

Oh I hope it works out for you.

Disney is the height of kid hedonism and glut! I love'd our trip to WDW.

We spent one evening just going to all the resort hotels and looking at them.

I'd go again and again if I could get these boys of mine to buy into my program once in a while.......

I brough my family to Disney and we stayed at Shades of Green. Amazing lodging and it is on the property so you get all the property perks (ie: early admission etc). Priced on a sliding scale according to paygrade and very very affordable. MUST reserve early, they fill up quickly. One more note, this is the same group that runs the Hale Koa Hotel on Wakki Beach in Oahu. Beachfront hotel for under 100 a night. These are great deals.

but where do our kiddos fall on the sliding scale?

They fall under "cadets of us service academys" usually the same scale as
E-1-E5 active military. About 75 a night at Shades of Green.

this is SO darn cool..... I am sitting here wanting to jump up and down in my seat....
