Disqualified from CSU- ? What to do next?

Hey Guys

I’m a community college student who transferred to Cal Poly Pomona, but after a couple semester I was disqualified. I decided to change major and attend a different Cal State so my question is - should i attend the new school under OPEN university option and work towards my new major and apply once my gpa is better ? Will my previous disqualification affect me? If you have gone through something similar please share. Thank You.

I thought since CSU is one big system if you get disqualified from one school then you get disqualified from all.
