Disruptive class

So at my school, we have ranked classes for our "core subjects; math, English, science, social studies, PE, religious studies, health", this is so that each class basically has people with the same level of knowledge and all.
But I think the entrance exam has been pretty screwed up because our class which is one of the two "smart classes" (we didn't make the name, the kids from the other classes did) and is the least popular amongst teachers. We have the athletes who can't spell the most basic words, the students that are supposed to be good; where virtually all except two of them are incredibly immature and the others who are incredibly chatty, most the time in another language; Russian, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish.

Anyone else part of a "disruptive class"?

they’re the best kind.

yeah I have a couple of disruptive classes, and it’s keeping me from learning material well, so I can do well on the tests and stuff, it’s annoying sometimes, but funny other times when the material is bullcrap easy.

yea i have that in my school, the English class is so unmotivated and disrespectful. Sadly, I’ve become the teachers favorite because I have the best grades in the class. Try being in a class surrounded by idiots, it actually makes you wanna work harder.

This is why we don’t take regular classes.

I suck at math, and Chemistry is only offered as regular until next year when you can take it as an AP, which I won’t anyway but yeah, AP BIO FTW. Next year they’re instating all new honors credit courses for classes we took that weren’t available as honors and I’m ****ed. I could have taken like 5 honors courses freshman year. :</p>

Well basically the students at my school (because it is a single-sex private one) are either A) ungrateful rich kids whose parents send them here to be away from the youth gangs and such, B) they’re kids who are actually smart or think they are the top of the world from being awarded “model student” at their elementary school but have poor understanding of literature before their time.
The majority are the first type.
And I suppose I seem as bad as the rest to the teachers, I haven’t been liked by the teacher since 1st grade! Some of them actually get me confused with one of the students that don’t do homework and I’ve had them for half a year… sigh

:) My sentiments exactly.

Elitist much?

My school requires us to take Health and Personal Fitness to graduate. Honestly, I have the most fun in those classes because I’m not around people that are so uptight.

^ Haha, the uptight people at my school aren’t even much smarter than the normal, chill people. But I’m in the same health class with all the people in my English, science and social studies class.

hahahaaha i take regular english and we just started a new quarter which means i get switched into a different hour and class.

It’s kinda fun…but the class can get so annoying! i kinda feel bad for the teacher (and he’s geting laid off nxt year :frowning: …even tho i get him **** myself LOL)

honestly, i feel like the best discussions happen in disruptive non AP classes, mabey thats just because i enjoy the opinions and feelings of people who have not been taught how to think because the school doesnt think they are capable of thinking in the first place
