In what science classes do you get to do dissection? And what exactly do you get to dissect?

In my intro bio class last year, we dissected fetal pigs.

And of course, in anatomy and physiology (which I haven't taken nor plan to), there's also plenty of dissection... from what I've seen my friends do, cats, mice and pigs come to mind.

We've done rats and fetal pigs in anatomy and physiology. Some schools choose to do fetal pigs and others choose cats. There are versions of books for each.

intro bio, vertebrate zoology, anatomy. In intro bio I dissected a crayfish, frog, squid, clam, and other small organisms.

human anatomy and physiological....human beings, aka cadavers... as if that wasn't predictable.

for neurobiology & physio-psych, sheep brains.
