<p>i know everyone says hofstra is for the rich long island kids, but statiscs show its a very diverse university.</p>

<p>I know a few people who go to Hofstra and really like it. I heard they give alot of merit aid, and its not too hard to get in. Also its not a Catholic school, both students I know are jewish. About the rich long island kids, I hear that about Syracuse, Binghamton etc... all the schools in New York. I wonder if there are any kids in the state of NY who aren't rich from Long Island??</p>
