<p>It seems like not everybody knows about these combined medical programs, and that is a very good thing, at least for me.....less competition ;) But am I wrong? Do many prospective students know about these programs but pretend like they don't know about them in order to hopefully decrease competition? It seems like many kids at my shcool are hiding their knowledge about these programs, I can just tel..... Please Post!!!</p>

<p>Some people might just think this topic is not worth their time. I, for one, am one such person. This post, however, was worth my time.</p>
<p>You're too paranoid. There's inevitably going to be a lot of other people applying to the programs you'll be applying to, so it shouldn't matter whether other people are hiding that fact from you or not.</p>
<p>OMG...dude, like everyone knows.... even the kids who have no goals in life. I know a few who are applying. Sucks for you I guess.</p>

I totally agree with you and i truly think that there are A LOT of students who not only hide they knowledge about BS/MD, but they also show lack of passion for medicine..They are ppl who do tons of volunteering, research and have taken AP Bio in 9th/10th Grade.</p>
<p>Many people know about these programs. Most don't talk openly about it because they dont' think others do.</p>
