Im going to a business administration major in the fall. The school I was accepted to wasn't my first choice and I will be attempting to transfer to another college by the end of the year.

I might have to do pre-calculus, but if I want to transfer to another college as a finance major, will not having taken calculus my freshman year be a disadvantage in my application?

Just to add, I am aiming to try transfer into the business schools of Georgetown, Boston College and University of Michigan

Yes Calculus is a prerequisite for many courses going forward to Sophomore and Junior year courses. I know this for a fact with regards to Stern, NYU. At Stern they have very specific instructions regarding Calculus 1 in Freshman year…
“Since math is a prerequisite for other required classes, it is usually best to complete the Calculus requirement in the freshman year.”
