Do any of you use Nike+ ?

I bought it last month to pair with my new iPod Nano and it's probably one of the most efficient and useful purchases I have ever made. I hate running (like with a burning passion, I would be that person eaten by Zombies in an Apocalypse because I refused to run) but this device has helped me run so much more this past month. It lets you set goals, gives you virtual trophies for achievements, and records every second of your pace when you run, allowing you to see exactly where you start to slow down and what you need to work on. There is also a Nike+ community, where you can share stats and add points to an overall goal.

I've loved Nike+ and I wanted to let everyone know that if you have a hard time getting yourself to run, this helps a ton. It even records info on a treadmill! It's awesome!

That's the end of my Nike+ promotion... definitely check it out of you can. It also makes a great (and relatively cheap) going to college gift that will help keep the freshman 15 at bay.

Do you still have good reviews for your Nike+? I just bought an iPhone5 and it came with the Nike+ iPod app and looks interesting.

Yes! It’s awesome! You can use the app without the physical Nike+ device but it doesn’t record as much as the device would. It also requires an Internet connection and I sometimes lose service where I run so that would be very frustrating to deal with. The $30 Nike+ device doesn’t need a network connection while you run but it does record all data on their website when you plug your iPhone/iPod in to your computer.

If you’re just interested in seeing how Nike+ works, use the app without the device itself and if you love it but want the extra features then buy the device.

Ah, very cool! I will test it out without the gadget first. My two favorite companies in collusion … Love it.
