Do any of your frinds use the CC as an online dating service?

<p>Mine do. Here's the deal:</p>

<p>In Egypt (were I live) there are very very very very few CCers (you can count them on your hands, literally). Anyway, I'm one of them. And I tell people that I post and talk to people and chat on MSN Messenger. So I told my friends about it. They said "do you talk to girls?" (I'm a guy by the way, and so are my friends). I answered "Yes I do." (Neglecting to mention that there are only 2 or 3 girls)
The nfor the rest of the day they begged me to give them the address so thery could talk to girls to. I gave up after a few hours and gave it to them.
The next day they came up to me and asked me to come with them to Cyber caffee to give them a STEP BY STEP walkthrough on hoe to make an account on the CC. I ddin't refuse becasue they said that it was their treat. I didn't pay a thing.
They made the account and then wanted to know how to talk to "the girls".
One of them was really anxious and screamed at me : "hurry up!! The girls are waiting." That person in particular had 2 people block him the next day. (I found that out becasue I chat with the same people regulary. But I didn't tell him that because I didn't want to hurt his feelings.
Anyway, do your friends do the same or am I the one who needs new friends??</p>

<p>I don't think you're allowed to do that. Isn't that abusing your account? stuck-on-1700, please don't allow your friends to contact girls on here like that. I hope you didn't give your friends the MSN screennames of those girls? If so I think you might get in trouble with the admins here. Don't do it again, for the safety of the girls.</p>

<p>Edit: the Amsterdam guy contacted me too. Thankfully he didn't guess that I was a girl. He simply messaged me as "dude!" I ignored him.</p>

<p>msn has pretty good security as opposed to say AIM so if someone just enters the emails of the girls, they should just block them if they didn't know who they were.</p>

<p>By the way, I adamantly refused to give them usernames. I'm not a pimp! And they were the ones who brought it up. I only gave them the website address and told them how to make accounts- nothing more.
I've concluded that I need new friends.</p>

they're not using me, there are some things I choose not to make a big deal out of. Like the topic of this thread: I know thses people and I knew what would happen if they tried to "chat with girls" so I decided to sit back and laugh at them in silence.
I admit that they do use me when it comes to test taking, I let them cheat off my papers often, but they always end up getting lower grades.</p>

stuck on 1700, I think you could use some new friends, but don't get just rid of the others, keep them around and use them for your own entertainment, i.e.- "laugh at them in silence."</p>
