Just wondering -- have any of you ever been in a situation where you realized you already knew someone on college confidential? Or that you eventually met somene from CC in real life, started talking, and realized that you had talked on CC?

I was just thinking how awkward it would be for me to realize that the shy kid in my bio class, someone I've never spoken to, could be a person I've had discussions with online. The anonymity thing is so weird.

I'm actually wondering that too. I'm hoping I'll meet some CCers when I go to college. Maybe during some orientation I'll carry a sign saying "Are you a member on CC?" and the bonding will ensue.

Haha. Actually, I've heard that some CCers have done "codes" to identify themselves at freshmen orientations (like a red dot on their left hand, for example). I'm planning on meeting three CCers this summer, but I don't know if I will get the chance to meet all of them. It'll be pretty exciting.

I found out in HS that there was a kid who was on CC who I'd responded to a few times. We were in the computer lab and I noticed he was on CC and I noted his username. I didn't say anything and he has no idea who I am. I like it that way.

Actually, one time in class I did notice this one kid on CC, and I bet he probably had an account. I never got to look at his username or anything because he was at the other end of the room. But I always do fnid myself wondering what his username was. Because it would be weird if we've talked....or even worse if he knew my screen name was me!!!

Red dots . . . haha I can't even really imagine.

HEY! YOU HAVE A RED DOT TOO. SUP FELLOW CCER. so what's your username?

Lol . . I guess it could happen, just seems kinda . . different.
Hmm, I hope I can meet some of these ccers one day!

Once I was in the library and this girl, like family friend, was on CC and i was like "omfg you go to cc too??", but we didn't say each other's usernames. And then a few days later, we both guessed each other's username. Haha, pretty cool right? I was like "yo are you ____" and she said yeah, and then she asked me "are you sarorah" lol . . . no hints or anything.

I'm pretty sure I've seen another CCer before but didn't realize it. . . like at those cty camps. actually this was also cool, so the guy in my cty chem class was talking about SAT IIs and what prep books to use, and what to look out for, etc . . like he really knew the "inside tips", I mean he sounded exactly like a CCer! That made me curious but I didn't say anything . . . anyway, I later found his sn on here, same as his aim, and someone else pmed me that the same guy (in the chem class) went to HIS school (kchen, you should know who pmed me heh).

Talk about a small world! See, that's why I'm pretty sure he's not the only CCer i've seen in real life but didn't realize that they went on CC too.

I remember that a long time ago, I saw the link for this website on someone's profile. Then about a year later, I started using it. I've always been wondering who he is on this site though. I can't just randomly ask him wut his username is because that would be admitting I'm on it too and for some reason I know he'll laugh at me. I wonder how many people are CCers at my school...not many I bet.

I don't know for a fact that I know anybody on here, but I do know there are some from my school. They might even know who I am  hahaha. But the way my school is, I bet a LOT of them have found this place.
