Ya I was just wondering if people actually have school today because that would suck!!

yeah a bunch from southeast Michigan do... my district is the only one i know of in the area that i know of that has it off

i dont but i do have a three hour field hockey practice that I'm dreading. I wish our people on our team were jewish

Come on down to Texas. Yes we have school.

my school doesnt take any relgious holidays off
christian jewish muslim
winter and spring break dont have to conincide with Christmas (though it usually ends up happening around then bc of the end of semester) and Easter. I have never had holy week off.

nope
2 days off
woot
my school is overwhelmingly jewish

No school near us has off for these holidays, except the private prep schools.

None of our schools (that I know of) have it off. YAY PUBLIC SCHOOL.

We have a very small Jewish community.

We have a "teacher planning day."

We don't have school, a good first day of Ramadan...

We don't have that large of a Jewish population, yet our school takes off almost all major Jewish holidays (ig. Yom Kippur, Rosh Hashanna, etc.)

my school is off today
dumb thing is that we have school tomorrow :(

we don't have school. hugely jewish town.

I went to school today...

Come visit Wisconsin... no major school districts are off

Yes. We do

Our county has a teacher in-service day, but most of the others have school.

Funny, why would that happen in the rural midwest? Other than my sweet elderly jewish neighbor, I don't think there are many others in this town.

I am sure I'm the only asian my grade too. Oh geez...

not even a large jewish population can stop them from having school in Big D

I had school. But I'm in Tennessee.

I had school today :(. And I live in an area with a pretty large Jewish population.
