Discriminating against epicanthic folded eyes, for example.

Discrimination against epicanthic folded eyes comes about because such eyes are the most readily identifiable features that signal "Asianness". Racism and beliefs about Asian inferiority manifest themselves in the discrimination against the one phenotypical trait that distinguishes Asians. If eyes are so important, then every non-Asian race should be freely intermingling. For example, Indians have "beautiful" eyes, yet Indian men are also greatly discriminated against. In their case, the racial signifier is no longer the eyes, but perhaps the skin colour. For them, the standard once again changes in its cycle of hypocrisy.

Asians share similar skin tone and hair texture with whites, so why are those similarities ignored? It doesn't fit, because those two standards are the ones exactly used to racially exclude blacks, since you can't use their eyes to pretend they're undesirable aliens.

It was a single example. Most things non-white are going to be discriminated against in a culture dominated by images of white people. People focus on differences instead of similarities.

And the standard doesn't change. You don't even make sense. Indians and Asians fall out of the western standard in different ways. That doesn't mean that the standard changes.

going back to the original topic: yes Asian girls do like Asian guys. mostly the hot ones, but nerdy Asian girls can go for nerdy Asian guys as well

i know one girl who really really wants to find a cute Asian nerd

So what? One cannot control what biological and cultural factors have predisposed them to prefer. I personally don't see why I would have to feel guilty or be obligated to reshape my preferences if I happened to find white girls and Asian girls more attractive than black girls (which, typically, I do). I have found and still do find certain black girls attractive; however, IN GENERAL, this is not the case. Regardless, there is no inherent hate or discrimination against a particular race present there.

Quit trying to be stubbornly and unrealistically "open-minded." It makes you look naive.

NIMBYness right here, that is if you consider yourself progressive-minded.

And you're not biologically predisposed to prefer anything, other than a healthy human female (if you're straight, that is). Any other preferences are shaped by cultural influences.

Actually we're biologically predisposed to look for many physical traits. For example large eyes and certain facial proportions that aren't indicators of health. Men look for wider hips and larger boobs. It's influenced more by evolution than it is culture. Read up on some evolutionary psychology.
