Do California colleges restrict water usage?

There are places where people choose not to recycle. The community I lived in in florida had curbside recycling once a week. I’d say participation was less than half. All you had to do was put it outside on Thursday nights, but many chose not to. We had unlimited trash pickup, so people would just throw stuff in the trash and put it out on trash day.

Just a different mindset than in communities where recycling is common.

Potty sign in CA during drought/in area under water restrictions:

“If it’s yellow, let it mellow. If it’s brown, flush it down.”

I have no idea if colleges promote this philosophy.

There are some public toilets that have separate “flushers” - one for liquid only (lowest volume) and one for, um, solids (still low, but higher volume).
