So i received an acceptance offer from Purdue from early action. The deadline is 1/11, three weeks from the day i received the notice. But i'm also waiting on the responses from other colleges that i applied through regular decision, which didn't show up until march or april. Now, if i were to wait for other college responses, will the offer from Purdue expire after the date? There are no specific clarification that Purdue said about offer expiration. Does this exist?

Schools expect you to submit your deposit by May 1.

Where do you see this deadline? What is the exact text? It is EA, not ED so it should be May 1.
[Purdue University :: Deadlines and Important Dates](Deadlines & Dates - Undergraduate Admissions - Purdue University)

I applied early action (non-bind, or is it the other way around?) to purdue for fall term 2014, and heard from them on dec. 21. then i went to the website provided above, and see that:

Fall term – Students admitted by April 10 must accept their offer by May 1. Those admitted after April 10 have three weeks to accept.

Spring term – Students admitted by December 1 must accept their offer by December 15. Those admitted after December 1 have until the start of the term to accept.

I applied for fall term, but i heard from them after december 1. So what exactly is my deadline?

You fall under those admitted by April 10…May 1 is your deadline…the three weeks refers to those admitted after April 10… meaning they may respond after May 1…

oh sweet! thanks!

Your answer was right there, though…

“Fall term - Students admitted by April 10 must accept their offer by May 1.”

my brain wasn’t working very well…but it is fully functioning right now :D

Congrats on Purdue, though!

Congratulations on Purdue! Now you have till May 1 to compare offers (especially financial aid awards) and apply to your dream schools “just in case/just for fun” since you KNOW you can go to college next year!
