So my first semester of high school just ended, and my GPA is a 3.2 (weighted 3.4), which is extremely low for me, considering i want to get in a selective college. I could’ve gotten a 4, but i messed around too much because I thought freshman year was going to be easy. Next semester, I plan on getting a 4. Will colleges care that I had one bad semester, considering I took the hardest classes a freshman can take at my school? I’m planning to make up for my bad freshman GPA as many AP’s and Honors classes I can for the next 4 years.
