Do Colleges consider the Writing section?

<p>I've heard that the SAT I writing section is not considered by many colleges...does anyone know of any top tier colleges that look at SAT I writing scores?</p>

<p>none last year but some might be starting to this year. give any you are worrying about an email and theyll let you know</p>

<p>According to the Newsweek I picked up in the orthodontist today, something around 70% of colleges consider the writing section (don't remember the exact number).</p>
