Colleges looking at writing section yet?

<p>Are colleges (lower key ones, not top 50) looking at the writing section of the SATs, and if you do bad on them will it affect you negatively? I am sort of worried since on the PSATs I bombed the writing section. </p>

<p>I have found this article talking about it, but it does not say if they really take much weight from the scores yet.<br>

<p>Just don't worry about it. Do as well as you can and you should be good to go.</p>
