Do colleges look at the best score between SAT and ACT?

So I’m kind of panicking right now. When registering for the ACT, it offered to send my score to 4 colleges for free. Being the cheap idiot I am, I signed up for it to send to University of Texas-Austin, Texas A&M-College Station, Georgia Institute of Technology, and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. I ended up getting a terrible score of 29/36, and it’s too late to cancel the scores. If I send my SAT score of 1480/1600, will they just look at my SAT because it is better? Will they look at both SAT and ACT? Am I screwed? Is there anything else I can do?

don’t worry about it, they will likely not consider the 29. You have other compelling evidence to show you are fine.
