I got a 30 on my ACT...which I'm happy with. But if you look at the individual scores, I got a 34 R, 33 E, 38 S....and a very dismal 24 math. Will colleges care that the individual math is really, really low? Or will they only be concerned with my composite 30?

Ah, a typo! I meant a 28 science.

Depends upon the college. Generally, it’s the composite score that is most important, but depending on your intended major, some schools may look at your performance on the individual sections more closely. If you’re majoring in a math related field (engineering, e.g.), the 24 on the math section may come into play.

Well I’m a prospective English major…so that’s good! Thanks!
