Does anyone know if colleges save/compare your financial aid forms from year to year? In curious because my financial information has changed a lot from last year and if my school compares my forms they might think it’s strange or something.
Yes, they do. If there was a significant decrease in family income, you may be required to turn in additional documentation to show the new figures. It all is dependent on how much your financial information changed.
Did you receive need based financial aid this year? Can you well document this large change in circumstances?
Just be honest…and I would suggest applying on the early side so that if you are selected for verification of any kind, you will have sufficient time to provide any information requested by the college.
