Do colleges see attendance record?

I have 10 excused absents so far. My parents and I are very concerned about my poor attendance..

Last year, I had 15 excused absences because of surgery..

Do you think it will hurt me? Let's assume that transcript shows on my transcript..

Thank you.

Then yes, colleges will see it. Whether this will affect your admissions chances is unknown. If your absences did not impact your grades, I doubt it will be an issue.

Excused absences should not affect admission at all- you were excused, therefore you did nothing wrong. If there are excessive UNexcused absences, colleges may perhaps take that into consideration (never heard of it happening, but wouldn’t rule it out. My brother missed 30 days of school his junior year due to music (spread out), I missed many days myself due to illness and music (I think it was around 20 a year). Colleges know things come up.

Your parents are worried about nothing. As a matter of fact, you were absent but STILL performed.
