<p>It depends on the school. Most UC’s don’t do it via email but will have the results online about a week before you get your acceptance letter (they don’t send out rejection letters). CSU’s send emails I think, but I didn’t apply to any so I don’t know for sure.</p>

<p>Most CSU schools admit on a rolling basis. A lot of my friends have been notified of their CSU acceptances. UC schools release their decisions in mid-March.</p>
