Do colleges take into account the first semester of senior year?

<p>Hi guys,</p>

<p>I had a pretty general question which I can't find an answer for anywhere else. Do competitive colleges such as Northwestern, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UC San Diego look at your grades for the first semester of senior year and use those grades to calculate your final GPA...or do they only consider up to the final semester of junior year?</p>

<p>And do they take into account 9th grade grades at all?</p>

<p>yes. and you can be rescinded if you screw up second semester senior year.</p>

<p>UCs don’t account freshman year into your GPA, but for credits (ie get a C or above).</p>
