<p>and faking extracurricular involvement would lead colleges to believe, if they believe, that you actually care about the things you’re doing. in such a case, you would have something to show for all the hours spent … numbers don’t make a bit of difference if you have nothing to show for it, generally speaking. ethics aside, flat-out faking probably won’t help you. sincerity goes a long way. call me crazy.</p>
