Do extracurricular activities have to "match" with your intended major?

Hey! I’m a junior looking to ED/EA into business/econ schools like UPenn Wharton, UChicago, Harvard, etc.

Because I want to major in economics / something business related, I have engaged myself in student government and FBLA, as well as founding my own marketing business and county-implemented educational technologies company.

However, I do a lot of music composition related things as well. I am concertmaster of our school’s orchestra, 7-time State Reflections music composition winner, 2-time NFMC winner, 3-time MTNA State winner, and 1-time NAfME Nationals winner, all for music composition. I have 4 performances where orchestras have debuted my works. I find it easiest to communicate myself through music  As much as I love music, I don’t think it would be something I want to continue in college as I much prefer economics and the way businesses work.

How will schools evaluate a slew of music and fine arts related ECs? Will they give it less weight since it’s not business or social impact related?
