Do GMAT scores and SAT scores correlate?

<p>do high SAT scorers usually get high GMAT scores? what was urs if you dont mind asking</p>

<p>They should be close, given the similarities in the subject matter and format. I never took the SAT, but my ACT was 31 and my GMAT was 720.</p>

<p>They're pretty close, but have seen a bunch of people who got high 1200s/low 1300s on the SAT suddenly bust out with 750 on the GMAT and that was when the lowest 99% on the GMAT was 720. Not too much the other way around, though.</p>

<p>There is probably a decent correlation, less than the other professional tests though (LSAT/MCATS).</p>
