Do I even have a chance at competitive schools?

@Mwfan1921 My high school does not show unweighted GPAs but I used the rogerhub calculator and got 3.83. It’s not exact because no +/- but it was quick and is a close enough estimate considering a lot of the +s and -s cancel out. 29 As and 6 Bs.

@ucbalumnus

  1. Yes. My parents have enough money saved so I can go just about anywhere for 4 years. I live in Wisconsin so in state tuition for UW. Cost shouldn’t affect where I apply but might impact the final decision if that makes any sense.
  2. ~3.83
  3. Good to hear. Looking to podium next year at least, eyes really set on top 3.

@sgopal2 About 3.83.
We don’t rank but I go to a small school (<100) and I believe was 1 or 2 as of last semester.
I will not need financial aid.

I did see that 34-36 is kind of lumped together in the admissions process but I just feel like studying for something so I’ve sort of made it my goal this summer to study for 36 ACT, 800 Math II, and 800 Chem in addition to getting a head start on Calc III and learning Microeconomics on my own. I get that it’s unnecessary but besides training and studying I don’t do much so it’s really more of a hobby.
