So I’m a junior in high school so I’m not that far away from senior year where its time to apply.
I just decided that I want to go into business and UMichigan seems like the perfect school for me with it’s diversity, campus life, and business program…
My GPA is not the best because I did not want to go to a school, nor had any desire to go to a school like UMich until this year.
So far, Ive had all A’s and A+'s except for Two B+'s and one B… and i am in my first semester as a junior in HS so i still have a few more to go…
Freshman Year: GPA was roughly a 3.7
Sophmore Year: GPA was a 3.68
Took AP World History Exam and scored a 3
Took Chem SAT2 and scored a 670…(yeah ik, not the best score)
I have over 200 volunteer hours.
I was on board (president and VP) for two clubs: Animal Rights Club and Community Club
I will join Varsity Spring Track this year for the first time
I have not taken the SAT 1 yet but I have been studying and plan to take it in March( what score should be a target score for Ross?)
I also have a small online baking business where people can order cakes for birthdays, holidays, parties. It is small but I did start it and I bake the cakes myself.
What are my chances of getting into UMichigan Ross. I just discovered their program and I have a strong desire to go there.
Even if i have the slimmest chance, please give me advice on how I can increase my chance. Thank you so much in advance.
Your target score should be a 1600
Re-weigh your academic GPA using all A=4, all B=3. If you are a typical student with a lot of A and A- grades that should raise your GPA a bit.
Sorry, with your stats it’s not really realistic, especially if you’re out of state. I’m not sure about average SAT but I know the average ACT at Ross is 33-34. Try checking out some less competitive business schools.
