What do you guys think? I know the ECs are lacking, but I spend a lot of time on the few that I do rather than doing a ton & doing little for each. But I also think I'm missing a few things. Any input would be awesome!

Your numerical stats and EC’s make you a competitive applicant.

You’re a senior, yes?

^ Yes, he’s a senior.

You know you stand a chance.

You’re obviously looking for an ego boost. Or you just have really poor self-esteem. You stand a good chance, if that’ what you wanted to hear. Remember, the essays mean a lot.

super-size me… & everyone else i guess… i am not looking for an ego boost… i truly did not know where i would stand in the applicant pool & i guess my wording of “do i even stand a chance” was poor… i probably should have said something like “what do you think of my chances”

^No offense, but you must have been living in a cocoon then.

Anyway, I would say your chances are OK, but they can never be very good for a school like Harvard.

honestly i dont want to feel to overly confident in myself because you never know… like im already into georgetown and wasnt very sure about my chances there… i just dont like getting ahead of myself and assuming things

“-Weighted GPA: 6.0/6.0
-Unweighted GPA: 4.0/4.0”

Really? How is this possible considering you only took 10 AP’s, just wondering…

My school weighs honors and normals = 4.00 and AP = 5.00

Pianodude… its cuz at my school an A in an honors or AP counts as 6 credits/points/whatever you want to call it towards your GPA

You always stand a chance when you apply to colleges. In this case I cannot see why you would believe you do not since you have little to improve quantitatively. As long as you can express yourself well subjectively you will be fine.
