I’m going to UCSD in the fall as a computer science major, and I really want to transfer to cornell. My overall high school gpa is 3.75 uw and a 34 on act. It was originally a 3.8, but senior grades are killing me.
Transfer applications are due in march, so schools will only be able to see one quarter of college grades on my application. If I’m gonna apply as a sophomore transfer, I’m gonna start preparing for standardized tests soon.
I will put in a lot of effort into college grades for sure. Hypothetically, if I get a 4.0 and retake my act to a 36, will I have a chance at cornell as a sophomore transfer? I’m guessing my high school grades will drag me down. Should I just wait and transfer as a junior?
