Do I have a chance at early decision?

I’m a senior at a private school in Florida.

I have been in the top 10 percent of my class throughout highschool.
my weighted GPA is about 4.5
I have taken 5 AP classes
I got a 4 on Biology and a 4 on Language and Composition.
I’m only turning in SAT IIs… 720 Biology, 740 French

National Honors Society (11, 12)
National French Society( all 4)
National German Society (11, 12)
Honor Court (11,12)
Community Service (all 4)

Language Immersion Programs in France for the past 4 summers

Varsity Cross Country (all 4 years)
17th and 19th at State Cross country meet
Varsity Track (9,11)

I have dual citizenship with the Netherlands (if that helps lol!)

I visited the campus, stayed overnight with the cross country team, and had an interview.

Do I have a chance? I applied ED.

I think that you have a really good chance!! Good luck!!

clearly a shoe in, i mean come on, $150.00 says so.... i don't make stupid bets caroline.

ALL ofur SAT scores, (I and II) get sent in with ur score report to the colleges.

my college advisor put my SAT II scores on my transcript but omitted my SAT I scores... i didn't send them through college board. They might not count but I was told that my I scores were borderline and probably best left unsent

unofficial scores are not taken into consideration (must be send through collegeboard if you want colleges to lookat your scores)

Would it be smart to send in my scores even though my regular SAT I scores are not very high?

What are your SAT I scores? "Not very high" is subjective and on this board could mean almost anything! Over 650 definately send.

not very high= 660 writing, 650 critical reading, 630 math

but my Sat 2s were 720 and 740

If you send in SAT IIs, aren't SAT Is on the same form?

yea...so it depends on whether ur willing to send in low SATI scores in order for them to see the SATII scores that are pretty good.

ok thanks very much for your help!

I have a friend applying ED bowdoin, sits next to me in AP Bio, we coast like ghosts in that class straight A's all day, well in his interview he mentioned the power house in the back of the room, we are the 'mitochondria' if you will of intellectual capacity, with USC and BC candidate to the left of myself, EA Bowdoin to the right of me, and me applying ED to Cornell. Well he got differed Caroline his stats were a bit better than yours and he had mad extra curriculars and president of the national honor society but he got Deferred so Idk if that helps but goodluck, and I got into Cornell ED and im pumped, if Bowdoin (non Ivy League) doesnt take you apply to Cornell ranked recently by the Vinny Review as the greatest Ivy in the world. haha Cornell University class of 2011 BALLIN!
