Holy $#!+... make a proper topic title! Normal "omgzorz chancez meeeeee" threads are bad enough, and now this garbage?

Hey... your chances are 0% if you do not apply. If you apply, you are always raising your chances. Maybe you'll have a not-so-great teacher rec. Make the rest of your application fantastic. Nobody's tossing your app out because of one bad recommendation. They'll look at the entire applicant.

Best of luck. And don't type/write like that on your app.

Now, the problem is that the PA Gov. School for International Studies puts a large emphasis on foreign language experience. It allows four spaces for high school foreign language experience plus several more for private tutoring experience.

I can fill in just one of those spaces.

The question here is how much emphasis do they put on this application and can I get away with the bare(to-the-hundredth-power)-bones minimum???

Ignoring any racism or obvious [and rude] talking behind my back...

Can you please help me?

What's so hard about helping me?

I did my best to get someone's attention -- since apparently you need a foghorn made of Ivy to do that around here, so can someone please help me?

I'm already busy and pressured during my "holiday" and I would like any sound advice out there in regards to Governor's School. Unlike some people, I don't have the benefit of a guidance department/school that does every possible thing to ensure its little Einsteins go out and save humanity.
