Do I have a chance at Stanford?

Wow, thanks for all the replies everybody :).

To tintin220: Oh cool, you go to Neuqua? Very big school right :)? Yes, I've heard of Chris Derrick (he'll be going to Stanford next year haha); he's one of my favorite high school runners actually (for more than just his running). I actually talked to him a little while back and he gave me the Stanford coach's email; so I'll definitely look into that. Yes, California is very competitive when it comes to distance girls. Just by making state for the 1600/3200 (especially 1600, since there's a state trial) would put you as one of the best in the nation.

To cho1220: Err, I don't think there are very many schools that have a bunch of GIRLS running sub 5 minute miles (the only schools I can think of are schools like Saugus, which is one of the best in the nation). I've already checked the times, etc. and my times would be good enough to at least walk on to the teams. I'm right about borderline on the National Elite cutoffs, and I've heard that the typical walk on standards for Stanford is 2:20/5:05/11:00-10, slightly slower for Berkeley.

One question I have is, how much weight are the SAT scores vs. GPA? Thanks.

Oh also if it matters, in my opening post I meant "In the summer of 10th to 11th grade I took Calculus A" as a prep course (taking AP Calculus BC in 11th grade).
